热镀锌槽钢，按镀锌工艺的不同可以分为热浸锌槽钢和热吹镀锌槽钢，是将除锈后的钢件浸入440~460℃左右融化的锌液中，

使钢构件表面附着锌层，从而起到防腐的目的。在一般大气中，锌层表面形成一层很薄而密实的氧化锌层表面，它很难溶于水，

因此对槽钢起着一定保护作用。槽钢耐蚀性主要决定于镀锌层的厚度，将较厚致密的纯锌层覆盖在槽钢表面上，

可以避免槽钢基体与任何腐蚀溶液的接触，耐腐蚀能力非常强，保护槽钢免受腐蚀，又能够长期与钢结构牢固粘接在一起，

防止表面受到损伤。锌在干燥空气中不易发生变化，而在潮湿的空气中，表面能生成一种很致密的镀锌薄膜，

经过镀锌处理之后的槽钢的表面会非常美观，而且还有着较强的抗腐蚀性。在锌呈液体的状态下，经过了相当复杂的物理、

化学作用之后，在槽钢固件上不仅镀上较厚的锌层，而且还生成一种锌—铁合金层。
