根据镀锌工艺的不同，热镀锌槽钢可分为热浸锌槽钢和热吹镀锌槽钢，将除锈后的钢件浸入到440~460℃左右熔融的锌液中，

使钢构件表面附着上锌层，进而起到防腐蚀作用。通常情况下，锌层表面形成一层非常薄且致密的氧化锌层，它很难溶于水，

因而对槽钢有一定的保护作用。当空气中的氧化锌与空气中的其他成分形成不溶性锌盐时，防腐蚀效果更好。

槽钢的耐蚀性主要取决于镀锌层的厚度，在槽钢表面涂覆一层较厚的纯锌层，可避免槽钢基体与各种腐蚀溶液的接触，

具有很强的抗腐蚀能力，保护槽钢不受腐蚀，并能长时间与钢结构牢固粘接，防止表面受到损伤。

锌在干燥的空气中不容易改变，而在潮湿的空气中，锌层可以形成非常致密的镀锌薄膜，具有较强的耐腐蚀性。

液态锌经过一系列复杂的物理、化学作用后，在槽钢上镀上较厚的锌层，并形成了一层锌-铁合金。这一镀法，

不但具有耐腐蚀的特性，而且具有铁-锌合金层的结合致密，在海洋性盐雾大气和工业大气中显出独特的抗腐蚀性，

适用于各种强酸、碱雾等强腐蚀环境。为使槽钢具有一定的抗腐蚀性能，并同时让产品外观上有装饰效果，

通常采用镀锌的方法对其进行表面处理。
